Kumarasami Kamaraj , better known as K. Kamaraj (15 July 1903– 2 October 1975, was a leader of the Indian National Congress, widely acknowledged as the “Kingmaker” in Indian politics during the 1960’s. He served as Congress president for four years between 1964-1967 and was responsible for the elevation of Lal Bahadur Shastri to the position of Prime Minister of India after Indira Gandhi turned down the same at the time of Jawaharlal Nehru’s death. Kamaraj was the chief minister of Tamil Nadu during 1954–1963 and a Member of Parliament during 1952–1954 and 1967–1975. He was known for his simplicity and integrity
To commemorate the birth anniversary of Karmaveerar Kamarajar the student took part in activities in the celebrations. The main highlight of the celebrations were presentations, banners and chart praising great Mr.Kamaraj
Independence day:
Our school, Motherlaand Matriculation celebrtated 70th Independence day. The celebration commenced withy a prayer followed by hoisting of the tricolour flag with the accomplishment of the band and rendition of the National Anthem. The choir inculcated the nationalistic feeling through patriotic songs and dances

Dr.Abdul Kalam’s birthday
Abdul Kalam was the India’s famous Space scientist and the former president of the nation. To commemorate birth anniversary of Kalam the students took part in the elocution presentations covered the early life, education as scientist, a politician life and Demise of the Great Indian Scientist
Republic day celebration
The Republic day of Indian commemorates the date on which the constitution of India came into force and India became a true Soverign State
The programme began with the prayer song Vande Mataram
The cheif guest delivered the Republic day message. He advocated the iumportance of our rich culture and emphasized on the simple rules like discipline, honesty, good health etc.. which lead to success the day celebrations ended with National anthem and sweet distribution
Sports day celebration
The Sports day celebration began with a prayer song, flag hoisting, March past followed by different house flag with vice-captain and captain
As an element of surprise the cheif guest and principal let free the doves to mark the spread of peace among the world ——————————-
The annual sports report was read by our P.T. Master event like 100 mtrs race for senior boys were conducted karate which affords the students to showcase their sporting talents and skills before their parents.
Winners of various sports activities were appreciated and honoured with medals.
ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS
The 13th Annual day was celebrated in all grandeur with the theme jubilant. The backdrop on the stage beautifully depicted the theme through Bharatham postures.
The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by the welcome address and the annual report of the school by the principal.
The cultural events set off with a dance Parvathi Parmeshwar. The powerful dance movements invoked the Bhakthirasa in US.
Dance in all languages, western, Arabic, ancient, Kargatham, Music elicited emotions like happiness, valour, kuel-heartedness or comparison.
A skit presented by the students in order to handle kind overcome the problems in the present was the main attraction.
Students of classes 10th and 12th who topped the board examination to recognize their efforts in bringing laurels to the school. The award function set an example for the future students to score well in their board examination.
At last Thiruvila song created a stir among the onlookers. The joyous tempo of the festival dance enthused the audience to tap their feet.
The teacher’s active participation along with their students added an extra color to all the performance and it was a usual treat to the audience.
India is a nation of a billion people. A nation’s progress depends upon how its people think. It is thoughts which are transformed into actions. India has to think as a nation of a billion people. Let the young minds blossom full of thoughts the thoughts of prosperity.
