OUR MISSION

The mission of the school is to develop a successful graduate. “Morally sound and intellectually competent. Psychologically well balance. Patriotic and committed to the needs of the society. Dedicated to truth and service to mankind”.

OUR OBJECTIVES OF EDUCATION

Integral formation of the human person includes two major parts. Personal growth and social integration.

SPIRITUAL AND MORAL FORMATION

The school will make conscious efforts to realize this goal by creating a suitable atmosphere which motivates the students to:

  • Discover the power and good news of God in their day-today living
  • Acquire the knowledge of God and be in touch with God through prayer
  • Worship God in gratitude and humility
  • Form their conscience to discern truth and develop the courage to make right choices in life.
  • Practice the values of comparison forgiveness, honesty, courage and respect.

OUR VISION

To bring out the students as victorious youths, to be successful in all spheres of life.

To develop core like skills of the students concentrating on communicative English and LSRW skills, more on quality education Arts, Crafts and Needle work classes and Hindi is compulsory as a third language up to VIII std.

INTELLECTUAL FORMATION

The formation of the intellect demands a progressive and systematic graduation through knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. While promoting academic excellence the school shall stimulate the students to think clearly, judge accurately and make choices in a logical manner always keeping in mind that “The aim of education should be to convert the mind into a living fountain and not a reservoir.

EMOTIONAL FORMATION

The human person is a whole and there is a definite interplay between one’s rationality, emotions and actions. Hence our school will enable the students progressively to:

  • Recognize emotions peculiar to one’s temperament and excercise of self-discipline. Discover one’s potential and accept one’s limitations and develop self-confidence.

PHYSICAL FORMATION

The body of the human being is a master piece of God’s creation. In dealing with the physical formation of the child, attention will be paid to:

  • The development of the senses: touch, taste, smell, hearing and right.
  • Strengthening of muscles and limbs for a healthy body.
  • Study the parts of the body and its functioning.
  • Mastery of the norms of health, hygiene and relaxation.
  • Basic tips for maintaining vigour, beauty, posture, grace and elegance.

SOCIAL INTEGRATION / CULTURAL FORMATION

Humans are social beings who work among people with people at all times and in all places. This presupposes the knowledge of interpersonal relational ships. The school will provide the atmosphere where this can be imparted, so that they may learn the art of living besides the mastery of the subjects.

In our pluralistic society amidst the differences of caste, creed and language it is important that the students be taught to appreciate ones culture while promoting harmony and national integration. Therefore the school will help the students to:

  • Develop a sense of prise, love and loyalty to the members of the home.
  • Practice respect for elders, gentlemen’s, hospitality and non-violence.
  • Appreciate the wide variety of cultures, religious and languages in the country.
  • Develop sensitivity to the needs of others.

LIGHTING CEREMONY

Lighting Ceremony for the outgoing students of class 10 & 12 “It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness”. Motherlaand Matriculation Higher Secondary School had the Lighting Ceremony that symbolizes the passing of knowledge and igniting the souls of outgoing students with rich deals on focus Academy for career Enhancement took time out to grace and bless the occasion

The proceedings started with prayers followed by lighting of the ceremonial Mother lamp by the correspondent and principal lit her lamp and the teacher light their lamps from her and spread the light of knowledge to the students by lighting their lamps

It was a spectacular sight to watch the outgoing (XII & X) led by sixth and seventh standard students holding decorated lamps and eight and ninth class students wishing them good luck with hand made cards and flowers

 


But the larger issue is that focusing on students’ skills shifts the hypnotize to do my homework and study vell emphasis from deficiencies in the students’ environment to deficiencies in the student
